Lawrence “Larry” Gene Focks, age 65, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at his home. Born on May 14, 1956, in Atchison, Kansas, he was the son of Elsie (McFeeters) Wertz and Robert Focks. Larry was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He married Sheila Ramsey on August 16, 1980 in Barberton, Ohio.

He worked for Best Lock as a machine operator for over 19 years. Larry was a member at Immanuel Holiness Church in Greenfield. He enjoyed gardening, working on puzzles, and collecting trains and coins. He loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sheila J. Focks; children, Emily N. (Focks) Cundiff (Samuel), Clinton L.J. Focks (Megan), Jared A. Focks (Jessica), and Allison J. (Focks) Hernandez (Will); grandchildren, Alexandra Cundiff, Natalie Cundiff, Gavin Cundiff, Gabriel Cundiff, Noah Cundiff, Aveline Cundiff, Cheyenne Focks, Charlotte Focks, Ronald Focks, Maverick Focks, Levi Focks, Devin Roche, Avery Banas, James (Bucky) Barnes, Cruz Hernandez, Ambrose Hernandez, and Varek Hernandez; and siblings, Loretta (Focks) Light, Mary Jo (Focks) Kirkham, Michelle (Focks) Hanby, and Robert Focks Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Wertz and Robert Focks; infant daughter, Erikka L. Focks; and brothers, George Focks, John Sinclair, and Arthur Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Covenant Foundation College, 4499 N. Fortville Pike, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m., with Brother Robert Brown officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield.
