SPICELAND
Cathy Sue (Payne) Owens, 66, of Spiceland, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at her residence. She was born January 12, 1955, in Greenfield the daughter of Martha (Muegge) Turner and the late William Payne.
Cathy loved anything to do with outdoor nature. Flowers, cactus, gardening, Giraffe’s, and Betty Boop were some of her favorite things. She was an EMT and CNA in Greenfield, and Postmaster but her children, grandchildren and family were her love.
Cathy is survived by her children, Jessica Johnson, Tiffani Wilfong, Dustin Owens, and Bailey Owens; grandchildren, Logan, Regan, Dianna, William, Jonathon, Jada, Corey, Max, Grayson, and Reece; great grandchildren, Landon, Dallas, Archer; sisters, Cindy Payne and Carla Horrigan; and best friend, Vickie Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Randall Owens, father; William Payne, stepfather; Robert Turner; and sister, Cheryl Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Condo St. Pierre Funeral Home and Crematory in Wilkinson. Visitation will be from 11-1 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Carthage, Indiana.
