Riley Boyhood Home open house Friday

GREENFIELD — Enjoy free admission to the first floor of the Riley Boyhood Home and Museum from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 10. Community choir to return for Christmas concert

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Community Choir will perform for the first time since a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. A Christmas concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1741 S. State St., Greenfield. Joe Faith, music leader at St. James, will direct the concert, which will consist of familiar and unique holiday tunes, organ and piano duets, a carol sing-along, and will give the audience an opportunity to join the choir on-stage to sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus.” A free-will offering will be taken.

Elks to hold Santa event

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Elks Lodge will present Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. The free event for children of all ages will include games and prizes. The lodge is located at 820 S. State St., Greenfield.

HC Arts hosting holiday events

GREENFIELD — Guests are invited to take a break and enjoy watching Christmas movies, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy an exhibit by Gale Sturm at the Twenty North Gallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. The gallery also features an artisan shop with local vendors and decorated trees by local businesses and nonprofits in the Festival of Trees. Hometown Holiday Market this Saturday

GREENFIELD — Vendors, food trucks and Santa will be at the Hometown Holiday Market 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 in downtown Greenfield. Festivities will be held at the North Street Living Alley.
