GREENFIELD
Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Herald, age 42, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on November 9, 1979 to David Herald and Patricia (Still) Doughty. He graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 1998.
He was the owner of Midwest Mowing. Jeff was a very outgoing guy and quite the jokester. He loved spending time with his family, especially at cookouts. He enjoyed boating and was always happy spreading joy.
Jeff is survived by his father, David Herald; mother, Patricia Doughty; best friend and son, Austin (Yesenia Zapata) Herald (Audrey Swift); son, Mannix Herald (Brittany McKinney); daughter, Brooklynn Best; son, Dominic Best; siblings, Rosemarie (Quincy) Sharpe, Rachel Herald, and Scott (Rachel) Herald; many aunts and uncles; 4 nieces; 2 nephews; and girlfriend, Jackie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
