GREENFIELD
Cherry Daniel Collins, age 83, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born in Democrat, Kentucky on March 9, 1938 to William and Bridia (Hammonds) Collins. He graduated from Letcher County High School. Mr. Collins served in the U.S. Army. Cherry married Marsha Rae (Williams) on July 3, 1961 in Virginia.
He worked for Chrysler in New Castle for 30 years. Cherry was the owner of Sugar Creek Antique Mall in Philadelphia from 1991-2005. He loved antiquing and walking through parks.
Cherry is survived by his son, James (Heather) Collins; granddaughter, Allison (Cory) Lussier; and siblings, Mary Profitt, Opal Anderson, Dale Collins, Mayo Collins, Cora Asher. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bridia Collins; wife, Marsha Collins; and siblings, Veda Collins and Stanford Collins.
Private family services and burial will take place at Philadelphia Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield.
