GREENFIELD
Carma Mae (Logan) Nolen, age 94, of Shelbyville, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was born in Emerson, Kentucky on August 31, 1927 to Elva Erwin and Mary Jane (Stephens) Logan. Carma married Virgil Nolen Sr. on June 20, 1945.
She worked in the dietary department at Greenfield Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. Carma was a member of Brookville Road Community Church.
Carma is survived by her children, Allen (Michaelee) Nolen of Anderson, Beth L. (Ronald) Arthur of Greenfield, Barbara (Clair) Wrightsman of Carthage, Doris (Dan) Carmony of Shelbyville, Hubert (Tonia) Nolen of Shelbyville, and Virgil (Patty) Nolen Jr. of Shelbyville; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ada Logan of Vanceburg, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Mary Logan; husband, Virgil Nolen Sr.; son, Stanley Wayne Nolen; four grandchildren, Timothy Wayne Wrightsman, Melinda Nolen, David Nolen, and Robert Nolen; two great-grandchildren, Rhea Kleine and Tiffany Nolen; three sisters; and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brookville Road Community Church, 7480 W. US-52, New Palestine, IN 46163. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Hubert Nolen will be officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
