NEW PALESTINE
Richard “Rick” Louis Fox, age 66, of New Palestine, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Community East Hospital. Born on August 28, 1955, he was the son of James R. Fox and Martha R. (Goodnight) Fox. He graduated from Anderson High School. On May 10, 1975, Rick married Deborah Qualizza in Indianapolis.
He worked for General Motors as a machine repairman for many years. He was a member of the Indianapolis Moose Lodge 17 and was a former member of the Scottish Rite and Masonic Lodge. Rick enjoyed watching baseball, camping, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren at his pool and attending their sporting events.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Fox of New Palestine; son, Jason (Laura) Fox of New Palestine; mother, Martha Fox; grandchildren, Jaxon and Nora Fox; brother, Tom (Sandy) Fox of Columbus, IN; and four-legged daughter, Sophie. He was preceded in death by his father, James Fox.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
