Victor Rodolfo Cuebas, 49, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2021. Victor was born on December 23, 1971, in Providence, RI, to Victor Manuel and Alice J. (Dennison) Cuebas. He married his love Christy Lynn Wallbrown on September 28, 1989. Months later, he graduated from Greenfield Central High School, the Class of 1990. And soon after, he embarked upon fatherhood with his first daughter being born, as well as starting work alongside his father at IUEC Local 34, in the elevator industry.

Victor attended IVY Tech earning a welding certificate to promote his career with Local 34. Along with on-the-job training, and advice and guidance from his father, Victor was employed with the Local 34 Union for nearly 30 years as a constructor. Victor and his wife could be seen supporting and touring with their youngest daughter while she played softball. Victor loved Harley Davidson’s and loved to ride when he could. He was also a large collector of Coleman lanterns, coolers, grills, as well as everything the company manufactured. He loved the outdoors and shared his experiences with his daughters: fishing, hunting, camping. As grandchildren came along, Victor loved to spend as much time with them as possible.

Victor is survived by his loving mother, Alice Dennison; his loving wife Christy of 32 years; their daughters: Stephanie Cuebas Deiwert (husband, Matt) and Dr. Victoria “Tori” Cuebas Hiner (husband, Jordan); grandchildren: Carson Deiwert and Sadie Deiwert; grand-dogs: Enzo and Gus; sister, Zoraida Cuebas; nephew, Adarius Cuebas; nieces: ZayLa Cuebas and NeVaeh Cuebas; and several cousins.
