Sugar Creek to present fire department open house

NEW PALESTINE — The annual Fire and Life Safety Open House hosted by the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

The event takes place at Station 45, 3545 South County Road 600W, New Palestine.

Free bike helmets will be given out while supplies last. Carbon monoxide detectors also will be given away. The event will feature health and safety demonstrations, as well as fun and educational activities for kids. Those who bring a non-perishable food item will have their name entered in a drawing for door prizes.
