MADISON
Mrs. Connie Kaye Nicholson Cutshall, age 82, of Madison, Indiana was born to Carl and Edith Nicholson on February 2, 1939 in Washington County, Indiana. She married John Ray Cutshall, October 24, 1958 and lived most of her life in Madison, Indiana on Pleasant Ridge. Kaye graduated from Vallonia High School and was employed at Memorial Hospital in Seymour, Indiana. She was baptized at Driftwood Christian Church in Vallonia, Indiana in her youth and she served in many different roles at North Madison Christian Church including teacher, Women’s Fellowship officer, four different church camps, and many others as she felt her ministry was in caring for others. Kaye worked for 27 years as a reading assistant at Rykers Ridge Elementary School for Madison Consolidated Schools. Her activities included church, gardening, sewing, baking pies, and recycling cards for outreach ministries at the DOC and area nursing homes. Kaye died on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 6:52 a.m. at her home on Pleasant Ridge near Madison, Indiana.
A LOVING FAMILY
Kaye leaves a legacy of family including her loving sons, John Robert Cutshall and his wife, Debbie of Terre Haute, Indiana; Stewart Alan “Stew” Cutshall and his wife, Donna of Bloomington, Indiana, Howard “Howie” Ray Cutshall and his wife, Lisa of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Chris Cutshall, Jennifer Egan (Shawn), Amy Williams (Andrew), Ryan Cutshall Aamot (Raquel), Rachel Cutshall, Benjamin Cutshall Palomino (Marilyn) and Aleah Cutshall; her great grandchildren, Austin Cutshall, Brett Egan, Madison Egan, Rebekah Williams, and Gracelynn Williams; her sister, Donna McPike of Medora, Indiana; her brother, Dave Nicholson and his wife, Julia of Noblesville, Indiana; her sisters in law, Margaret Goyer and her husband, Ron of Vincennes, Indiana, Mary Cutshall of Lafayette, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl H. “Jack” Nicholson, her mother, Edith Lula Stewart Nicholson, her husband of 58 Years, John Ray Cutshall, died January 7, 2017, and her brothers in law, Bob McPike and Bob Cutshall.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 13, 2021, at 11:00 am, by Brother Robby King, Bro. Bob Hicks at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East SR 62 Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Rykers Ridge New Cemetery, Ryker’s Ridge, Indiana
VISITATION
Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana and Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Road 62 in Madison, Indiana.
