NEW PALESTINE — Katelyn Sadlon received a $2,500 scholarship from the Ron Collier Family Collegiate Scholarship Program.

The program is available to seniors attending New Palestine High School that are members of Indiana Members Credit Union, intending to study full-time at an accredited college or university.

The program is named after Collier, IMCU president and CEO,  and is funded through the Indiana Members Foundation, the charitable arm of the IMCU.

Collier presented the scholarship to Sadlon on Thursday, June 1 at IMCU’s headquarters.  Sadlon will be attending Ball State University in the fall and plans to study pre-medicine.

Collier is a long-time resident of New Palestine, and his children all graduated from New Palestine High School.  Collier and wife Debbie have three children and four grandchildren.

Applications for the scholarship are accepted annual Jan. 1 through March 31. For more information about scholarships and grants from the Indiana Members Foundation, visit www.imf4kids.org.
