HANCOCK COUNTY — The McCordsville Police Department is accepting pre-applications for the position of full-time police officer. Applicants must be 21 to 39 years of age prior to date of hire. Pre-applications can be found online at www.mccordsville.org or obtained in person at the police department at town hall, 6280 W. County Road 800N. The applications may be submitted via email to Officer Jessica Barnes at [email protected] or in person at the police department. Deadline to submit applications is 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27. Physical agility testing will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28. Applicants may refer to www.in.gov/ilea/physical-fitness-standards/ to review the fitness standards.
