Schools hosting vaccination clinics

HANCOCK COUNTY — Greenfield Intermediate and Maxwell Intermediate schools will host clinics for several different kinds of vaccinations during the school day on Friday, Aug. 20. Those who would like to have their children participate must complete the consent and questionnaire online at patients.vaxcare.com/registration, with the user code IN10647.

The registration deadline is noon on Thursday, Aug. 19.

A parent or guardian must give consent online before vaccination. Children’s immunization records will be reviewed via phone with parents and guardians before the administration of any vaccine. Vaccines that may be administered include Tdap, hepatitis A and B, HiB, polio, influenza, MMR, human papilloma virus, meningococcal and meningococcal B (meningitis), pneumococcal, varicella and COVID-19 (Pfizer for 12 years old and younger, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson for 18 years and older).
