Wireless retailer recognized nationally
CARMEL — TCC, a Carmel-based Verizon authorized wireless retailer with a location in Greenfield, recently received two national awards.
Chief operating officer Jay Sichting received a Bronze Stevie Award in the Achievement in Management, Telecommunications category in the 2021 American Business Awards. TCC’s parent company, Round Room, has also been recognized with a silver ranking in the 2021 LearningElite Awards Program for its outstanding learning and development.
All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations for the American Business Awards — public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, large and small.
Sichting’s Stevie recognition stems from his commitment to TCC’s growth throughout his more than 20-year tenure and his determination to keep TCC customers and employees safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He oversaw safety supply distribution to all store locations, organized touchless experience software and in-store social distancing measures, and managed communication to storefronts about changing state guidelines.
