GREENFIELD — Sculptures by local artists are on display in downtown Greenfield this month, and an artist reception is set for this Friday, Aug. 13 (with a touch of chocolate too). Hancock County Arts will feature works by Pam Hignite, Bonnie Zimmer, Jeff Weiland, Clark Fralich and more in a reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Twenty A North Gallery, 20 N. State St. The event is happening at the same time as the Greenfield Chocolate Walk, so sweet treats will be served as well.

GREENFIELD — Learn how to play a new board game every Friday this month at Hitherto Coffee and Gaming Parlour. This Friday, Aug. 13 the featured game is Codenames, and staff will be on hand to explain the game where two rival spymasters compete to give their teammates clues. The free event is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and reservations are taken for 45-minute time slots to allow ample time to teach and complete a game. Shorter demonstrations are also available. McCORDSVILLE — Head to Daniel’s Family Vineyard and Winery for “Soulful Sunday” and a chance to see a concert by MaKenzie Thomas Williams. The McCordsville winery will feature the 23-year-old Cincinnati resident who has competed locally and nationally on shows like NBC’s “The Voice.” The concert is 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15; the winery is at 9061 N. 700W., McCordsville.
