The vaccination clinic at Hancock Regional Hospital immunized 23,000 people

GREENFIELD — Today (Friday, July 30) is the last day for Hancock Regional Hospital’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic, and the hospital will start referring those seeking a vaccination to the Hancock County Health Department.

Tim Livesay, director of pharmacy for the hospital, said the clinic is closing due to a decrease in people seeking a vaccination. Since opening to front-line health care workers on Dec. 18, 2020, the clinic has fully vaccinated more than 23,000 people.

Along with the county health department, there are eight other locations in Hancock County offering COVID-19 vaccinations. More information is available at ourshot.in.gov.
