GREENFIELD — Acoustic trio The Scofflaws returns to Griggsby Station in downtown Greenfield Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Indy group features Kevin Crenshaw on guitar, Jill Phillips on vocals and Greg Dunn on bass. They play easy rock, blues and pop songs from the 1950s to today.

NOBLESVILLE — Free canoe rides down the White River are available Friday, July 30 and several days in August during Free Paddle Days.

The Noblesville-based events are designed to showcase the White River for its recreational and wellness use, and also introduce Hoosiers to ways they can get involved to protect it. Two of the paddle days, Aug. 13 and Aug. 27, are in conjunction with river clean-ups.

The event, hosted by the White River Canoe Company and the White River Alliance, requires a $15 deposit to ensure reservations are used but will be returned upon arrival. For details, visit thewhiteriveralliance.org/programs/white-river-paddle-days.

INDIANAPOLIS — Be among the first to experience Newfields’ largest exhibition in history. The Lume opened Tuesday and features 150 state-of-the-art digital projectors that can transform two-dimensional paintings into a three-dimensional world that guests can explore through all their senses.
