Joan Elizabeth (Noffke) Snodgrass, age 95, of New Palestine, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Walker Place. Born June 30, 1926, to Otto Noffke and Elenora (Rasbach) Noffke. She graduated from Tech High School in 1944. On September 22, 1951, she married Ward Snodgrass and moved to New Palestine to join him in farming and raising horses. She was active in Home Ec and Quilting Clubs.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Richard and Robert, and sisters Eleanor, Ruth, and Dorothy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. There will be no funeral service.
