McCORDSVILLE — The Hancock County Solid Waste Management District is hosting a collection event for electronic items from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 10, at 7580 N. Form St., McCordsville, next to the fire station.
Electronics will be $5 per carload. There is a $20 fee for projection screen TVs, $10 fee for all 32-inch and larger TVs, $5 fee for all TVs smaller than 32 inches and computer monitors, and a $20 fee for all Freon appliances. There will be no charge for document shredding.
Donations for Changing Footprints will also be accepted at the event.
The event is for Hancock County residents only, and only cash and credit cards will be accepted.
