Mt. Vernon offering event passes to residents 65+

HANCOCK COUNTY — Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation is offering any resident living in the district who is at least age 65 an opportunity to receive a “Mt. Vernon 65+ Club Event Pass.”

The 65+ Club card will provide free admission to most Mt. Vernon Middle School and Mt. Vernon High School events, conditional on any restrictive event guidance from the county or state health departments.

Mt. Vernon superintendent Jack Parker is hosting three registration events this summer at the Administrative Service Center, 1806 W. State Road 234, Fortville. Attendees can chat with Parker while their 65+ Club Event Pass is being made.

June 22 — 8:30-10:30 a.m. — coffee and light bite served
