GREENFIELD
Nancy Lee (Slinkard) Alldredge, age 84, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021. She was born in Linton, Indiana on March 29, 1937 to Vera O. (St. John) Slinkard and Vernon L. Slinkard. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1955. She married Glenn C. Alldredge on December 28, 1975 in Greenfield.
Nancy owned a housecleaning business for many years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and served the church in many capacities. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid doll collector. She loved her church and her family.
She is survived by her children, James (Alice) Richey of Kokomo, Mark (Roberta) Richey of Elnora, IN, Jeff (Lori) Richey of Rensselear, IN, Margo (Bryan) Hash of Nashville, IN, Mark Alldredge of Nashville, IN, Chris Alldredge of Nashville, IN, Tammy Tillman of Blue Springs, MO, Tim (Jessica) Alldredge of Dayton, OH; brother, Ted Slinkard of Ingalls, IN; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and former spouse, James Richey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Vernon; husband, Glenn; brother, John Slinkard; and sister, Suzanne Keyes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. also at the mortuary. Reverend Brent Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Per the family’s request, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
