GREENFIELD — Bikes are blooming across downtown Greenfield. Take a stroll to visit the bikes that have been decorated by local nonprofits and businesses. Each bike presents an exclusive theme to promote a cause or a business or to celebrate spring. Bike or walk through the historic downtown to see them up close. The bikes will be on display May 9 through June 20. The winner of the 2021 Bikes in Bloom will be announced at the Mutts on Main Dog Parade event on May 15.

INDIANA — Starting to think about a summer vacation? The Indiana Historical Society will host a free online program featuring some of Indiana’s best vacation spots from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 13. Travel virtually from your home as the program explores some of the best destinations of the Hoosier state. HANCOCK COUNTY — The League of Women Voters of Hancock County will host a screening of “Just Mercy” at 6 p.m. tonight at the H. J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. “Just Mercy,” based on the book by Brian Stevenson, is the story of Stevenson’s life’s work to rescue the wrongly convicted — usually people of color — from death row. Admission is $5 at the door or free for those who have read the book (available at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road) and take the survey. The film will be followed by a public question and answer session and panel discussion that will include Hancock County Prosecutor Brent Eaton, retired officer Michael Cunegin, and ordained minister Patty Franklin.
