Teens can paint SpongeBob
GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE — Teens ages 13 to 18 can pick up a Take-and-Make SpongeBob-themed mini-painting kit during open library hours on May 10 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, or the New Palestine Branch Library at 5731 West U.S. Highway 52, New Palestine. The kit contains a mini-canvas, brushes and paint needed to complete the project. Registration open for Camp Invention
GREENFIELD — Camp Invention, a nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment program, is now taking registration for the week-long, formatted-for-home science exploration camp. The hybrid program featuring both offline activities and optional online sessions enabling hands-on exploration through the Innovator’s Toolkit delivered directly to each participant. With four themed activities, step-by-step guides and an Innovator Workshop, the program brings home imagination and creative problem solving. Local certified instructors take the campers through the day’s activities, with the children choosing to attend the four daily online collaborative sessions or move at their own pace.
