NEW PALESTINE — The Southern Hancock Education Foundation (SHEd) will host its Derby Days Gala as a virtual event at 6:30 p.m. on April 16. The proceeds from this annual fundraiser provide grants to the teachers and students of the Southern Hancock County school district. The gala will be a virtual live stream event. Buy tickets, purchase a watch party (with meals provided and register to bid on live auction items donated by local businesses, the schools and other organizations. The event will feature local celebrities such as host and New Palestine High School alumni Joni Michels, music, and information about what SHEd has accomplished.
