INGALLS
Matthew “Matt” Lowder, 50, of Ingalls, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born December 7, 1970 in Indianapolis, In to Patricia Ann(Haines) Lowder and the late James Ronald Lowder.
Matt worked for the United States Postal Services as a truck driver and loved his job. He never missed work and would go in not feeling well and stayed until they made him leave. It was not until his health began to fade that he stepped away. Matt enjoyed 1/4 mile drag racing and was a Colts fan. His family meant everything to him.
Matt is survived by his mother Patricia; brothers, Greg (Jane) Lowder, Keith (Cindy) Lowder and Mike Lowder; sisters, Connie (Barry) Hickman and Roberta Thompson; also, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A funeral to celebrate Matt’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Arnett Lowder Cemetery, in Greenfield.
