HANCOCK COUNTY — Whether you run on a treadmill, walk around the neighborhood or bike around the block, you can participate in the Hancock4Kids’ Virtual Superhero 5K and Kids’ Dash. This virtual event takes place the whole month of April. Visit hancock4kids.org for a complete listing of races for any age or distance. Kids age 15 and under are free. Adult packages range from $20 to $35. For additional fun, sign up for the Virtual 5K Plus Bingo Run for a chance to win prizes. Proceeds from the event go to support Hancock4Kids’ mission of keeping children safe and families strong in the Hancock County community.

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Arts Council invites the public to “Thank Goodness for Flowers,” a free art exhibition at the Twenty North Gallery at 20 N. State St. An artist reception will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 9 at the Gallery. The event is free. NEW PALESTINE – The public is invited to New PALooza, April 9 and 10 at the New Palestine Lions Club, 5242 W. U.S. Highway 52. Friday night trivia begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at noon, musical entertainment includes Mammoth Flynt, Rock Radio, Trent Moss and the Fairland Ramblers, and Cold Ember.
