Indiana Historical Society plans Girl Scout Badge Day

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Historical Society will host “Celebrating Community: Girl Scout Badge Day” with a workshop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 15. Held in-person at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St., this workshop will celebrate the anniversary of the founding of Indianapolis. Girl Scouts will explore themes of community and learn about Indianapolis history, landmarks and symbols during one big birthday party for Indianapolis. Girl Scouts who complete the workshop will earn and receive the Celebrating Community badge. Celebrating Community is also available to Brownies.
