Online tool can match job seekers with employers

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana residents looking for a new job can use a new state tool called the Hoosier Talent Network to be matched with positions that would be a good fit for their skills and experience.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development’s new online tool located at in.gov/dwd can be used by individuals to find job openings in their area as well as by employers to recruit candidates.

The platform, powered by artificial intelligence, uses information a job seeker provides about their background, education, and more to provide them with relevant results. Applications can then be submitted through the website.

“Through the Hoosier Talent Network, those seeking a new job are able to easily find several potential opportunities in one place,” Rep. Bob Cherry, R-Greenfield, said in a news release. “This is a great tool for individuals searching for a new career opportunity.”
