Kids’ flower crown workshop offered by Studio 309
FORTVILLE — Studio 309, 309 Noel St., will offer a kids’ flower crown workshop from 1 to 2 p.m. March 15. Kids will create a rustic floral crown with colorful flowers and other items. Flowers are provided Emily’s Backyard Blooms. Registration is $30. Email [email protected] for more information.
Paint with a Princess at Kiln Creations
INDIANAPOLIS — Kiln Creatives in Broad Ripple partners with Once Upon a Princess to bring you a Paint with a Princess Extravaganza, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 13 at Kiln Creations, 6511 Ferguson St. Participants will be painting a tea mug, taking pictures with the princess and creating a mosaic crown at this event where everyone is royalty. Registration is $30 at kilncreations.net/calendar. Registration includes a treat bag. Mugs will be ready for pick-up a week after the event.
INverse seeking poetry submissions
INDIANA — INverse, Indiana’s poetry archive, is currently accepting new poems from Indiana residents through April 30. A collaboration of Indiana Poet Laureate Adrian Matejka, the Indiana State Library and the Indiana Arts Commission, INverse celebrates and preserves the diverse range of Indiana poetry for future generations of Indiana writers and readers. Poets must have lived in Indiana for at least five years.
