Breakfast to benefit missions

EDEN — Eden United Methodist Church will serve breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. today at the church, 2122 Eden Road, Greenfield. Donations will be accepted to support local and global mission work.

Blood drive set for Thursday

McCORDSVILLE — A community blood drive is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

To donate blood, sign up in the Events tab on the church’s Facebook page. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Youth conference kicks off Friday

GREENFIELD — “Torn,” the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ National Youth Conference, is set for Friday and March 13 at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St., Greenfield.

Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 13. A breakout session takes place at 2 p.m. March 13.

Mt. Comfort fish fry is drive-thru

MT. COMFORT — Mt. Comfort Church’s annual fish fry will be drive-thru only this year. Pickup will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. March 13 outside the church, 3179 N. County Road 600W.

Hand-battered cod, coleslaw, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and a dessert choice will be available for $10. Dessert choices are apple pie, cherry pie or chocolate cake.

Proceeds from the fish fry will benefit a youth group trip to Charleston, South Carolina.

Drive-thru for Lenten meals this year

FORTVILLE — A drive-thru fish fry fundraiser is planned for Fridays during Lent at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

Serving begins at 5 p.m. and continues until the fish are gone. The $10 dinner includes a fish sandwich, steak fries, coleslaw and homemade dessert.

The church is located at 523 S. Merrill St.

The fish fries are sponsored by Knights of Columbus chapter 15712.

Bible study available in person, on Zoom

GREENFIELD — Trinity Park United Methodist Church is offering a Bible study during Lent using the book “Seven Words” by Susan Robb.

The study meets at 10 a.m. Tuesdays in the Ministry Center at the church, 207 W. Park Ave.

Local ministry provides furnishings to needy

GREENFIELD — A furniture ministry out of Faith Baptist Church, 1489 E. County Road 600N, provides household furnishings to families in need.

Love INC works closely with the church’s furniture ministry.

Beds of queen size or smaller, as well as appliances such as clothes washers and dryers, are among the items most often needed. Those wishing to donate appliances and furniture are asked to contact Love INC at 317-468-6300.
