HANCOCK COUNTY — Financial aid professionals from throughout Indiana will be on hand Sunday, March 7, to help college-bound students and their families apply for financial assistance to pay for school.
College Goal Sunday starts at 2 p.m. The event will be virtual. Families can visit CollegeGoalSunday.org to connect with help. For the best filing experience, working from a computer/laptop during the event is recommended, organizers say.
The free program assists Indiana students in filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA form is required for students to be considered for federal and state grants, scholarships and federal student loans at most schools. The FAFSA must be filed by April 15 to be eligible for Indiana financial aid.
