HANCOCK COUNTY — The county added three COVID-19 deaths over the weekend, raising its total to 126.
The two victims added Saturday were both age 80 or older; one was a woman and the other was a man, according to information from the Indiana State Department of Health. One died on Jan. 27 and the other on Feb. 4.
The death added Monday was a woman in her 60s who died on Sunday.
Hancock County also added 94 new novel coronavirus cases over the weekend, raising its total to 7,196.
Indiana added 58 new COVID-19 deaths Monday, raising its total to 11,459; and 1,065 cases, for a total of 640,744.
By early Monday, 9,767 Hancock County residents had received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 3,844 were fully vaccinated. Statewide, almost 700,000 had received a first dose, and more than 223,000 were fully vaccinated.
