GREENFIELD — At its most recent meeting, the Greenfield Board of Works approved several promotions for members of the Greenfield Police Department.
The changes include the promotion of Sgt. Corey Decker to the rank of lieutenant; Officer Dale Diefenderfer to the rank of sergeant; and Officer Isaiah Ernst to the rank of sergeant. All promotions will become effective on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Greenfield Mayor Chuck Fewell congratulated the officers on their advancement within the department, saying it is always gratifying to see city employees work their way up through the ranks.
