McCordsville — The Town of McCordsville has announced new limited hours for recycling drop-off at the bins behind Town Hall.
The new recycling drop-off hours, which begin this weekend, are Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A gate has been installed that will be locked before and after those times.
The town is making the change because the amount of recycling has become so great that it is cleanup has become difficult for staff on Monday mornings. Those using the drop-off are also asked not to deposit items that are not recyclable; not to deposit recycling on the pavement outside the bins; and to break down any boxes.
