Cynthia’s Hallmark to donate proceeds to Riley society
GREENFIELD — A portion of proceeds from the sale of regular-priced purchases at Cynthia’s Hallmark stores will benefit Riley Old Home Society from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Shoppers must mention Riley Old Home Society in order for the organization to receive proceeds.
Riley Old Home Society, a nonprofit organization, aims to serve present and future generations for cultural and educational purposes; to advance knowledge of the life and works of James Whitcomb Riley, The Hoosier Poet; and to collect, maintain, preserve and interpret artifacts and literature which reflect the cultural era of Riley’s lifetime and works.
For amounts spent of $1 to $1,000, 10% will be donated. For $1,000 to $1,999, 15%. For $2,000 to $2,999, 20%. For $3,000 and more, 25%.
Cynthia’s Hallmark Greenfield location is at 1584 N. State St., in the Green Meadows shopping center.
