HANCOCK COUNTY – Visit the Hancock County Public Library Facebook page for links to stories read aloud by library staff, bedtime stories, songs and finger play activities. Find: “Close Your Eyes” and “Hush Little Polar Bear” posted on Oct. 15; a “Shape Monster” activity posted on Oct. 16; “Five Little Fishes” posted on Oct. 20; and “Five Little Pumpkins” fingerplay posted on Oct. 21.

Butler Ballet presents Sugarplum Tea Party

INDIANAPOLIS — Join the characters of Butler Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” for tea and a light lunch at noon on Nov. 1 at the Shelton Auditorium on the Butler University campus at 1000 W. 42nd St. At this annual tradition, guests will see the cast members and learn their signature moves, make holiday crafts and hear the story of the Nutcracker. Tickets are available for $25 for children and $20 per chaperone online only at Ticketmaster (search Butler Ballet Sugarplum Tea).
