SHIRLEY — This October, the Shirley Community Visionaries will replace Shirley Founders Day with a new event: Pumpkins and Peddlers, Oct. 16 and 17 at Shirley Park on 2nd St. Hazzard Bound will play Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Food will include a pork roast from 5 to 8 p.m. at the shelter house. On Saturday, Divine Vision will play from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can get a chicken and noodle dinner at the shelter house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afternoon entertainment features pedal tractor pulls and lawn garden tractor pulls from 2 to 4 p.m. The Shirley Community Visionaries will serve ham and beans from 5 to 7 p.m. The evening is capped off with music from Common Bond from 7 to 8 p.m. Visit townofshirley.com/pumpkins-peddlers-festival for more information.

GREENFIELD — The Wooden Bear, 21 W. North St., and Green Light Trivia offer an evening of Halloween movie-themed trivia from 6;30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 22. It’s free to play and prizes will be awarded. For more information, visit woodenbearbrewing.com.

GREENFIELD — Tickets are on sale from Oct. 19 through 28 for Greenfield Rotary’s 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Tickets can be purchased during normal business hours at the Greenfield Daily Reporter (22 W. New Road); Price Eye Care (946 N. State); Forty Financial (812 E. Main); ATA Title Company (1298 N. State); and Ye Old Head Shoppe (949 N. State). Proceeds from the raffle will go to benefit humanitarian services in Hancock County. Additionally, tickets can be purchased the Ponderosa parking lot (1585 N. State) from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 24 and from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 25. The drawing will be on live on Facebook at the Rotary Club of Greenfield, Indiana at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 29.

Sponsored by the “We’ve Got Your Back — Shop Local” campaign, the event includes a Halloween costume ball, dinner and dancing.
