Public prayer event is today

GREENFIELD — A local Public Square Rosary Rally will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 10, at the corner of Winfield and Madison streets across from St. Michael Catholic Church.

The 2020 Public Square Rosary Crusade encourages people to pray for the nation.

Attendees are encouraged to wear masks. They can also bring lawn chairs if they wish. The event will last about a half-hour.

Bible Study Revival coming

GREENFIELD — A Bible Study Revival is coming up at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St.

Sessions are set for 7 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. Oct. 17, and 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 18.

guest speaker will be the Rev. Bobby Killmon, dean of biblical studies at Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis.

Trunk or Treat is drive-thru

McCORDSVILLE — Christ Presbyterian Church will offer a drive-thru Trunk or Treat from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 17.

Trinity Park schedule to change

GREENFIELD — Trinity Park United Methodist Church will switch to two in-person services at 9 and 10 a.m. starting Oct. 25. The 10 a.m. service will still be livestreamed on YouTube. Social distancing restrictions will still be observed.

Faith Group classes will begin meeting that day (also observing social distancing); information will be available on the church’s website, www.trinitypark.net.

Also on Oct. 25, children’s ministry activities will resume during both services (including a nursery). More information on that will also be available at www.trinitypark.net.

Fall Fling is Oct. 30

WILKINSON — Wilkinson Church of Christ, 7293 N. State Road 109, plans a Fall Fling for 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30 for children of pre-kindergarten age through fifth grade.

Everything is free and inside. Family-friendly costumes are welcome.

The event will feature games, prizes, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a cookie walk, a glow room and inflatables.

Fall festival is Oct. 31

FORTVILLE — Fortville Church of the Nazarene will have a family fall festival f rom 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at the church, 701 S. Maple St.

All activities will be outside and conducive to social distancing. The event features live animals and a trunk or treat. Several food trucks will visit as a concessions option; the church will not be serving food beyond the treats.

Heather Hills plans Trunk or Treat

CUMBERLAND — A drive-thru trunk or treat is planned for 4 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at Heather Hills Baptist Church, 1421 N. German Church Road.
