Scott Hutton, Indianapolis, born January 7, 1948, the son of Ralph and Beatrice Hutton, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020. Wilma Hutton was blessed to be Scott’s mother when she married Ralph after the passing of Beatrice when he was only 2 years old. Surviving family members include brothers, Larry of Greenfield and Phil (Fiona) of Bellingham, Washington. Other immediate relatives include cousins, Teri (David) Reed of New Palestine and Dan Hutton of Indianapolis; aunt, Barbara Mattingly, of New Palestine; nephew, Jason (Becci) Hutton; and niece, Jaime (Patrick) Early.

Scott was a 1966 graduate of Greenfield High School and went on to study Business and Marketing at Indiana University, where he attained his Associate’s Degree. He was active in many sports and was a devout Christ Follower. Scott never married but developed close relationships with many people throughout the US. His corporate career began with American Express where he was instrumental in the development of their Corporate Accounts Division. He then moved on to Delta/Peerless Faucet Company where he served as National Sales Account Manager and Vice President for 20 years. He was responsible for developing programs with Sears, Home Depot, Builder’s Emporium, and Wal-Mart. Scott retired in 2018 after pursuing additional ventures as the owner/publisher of the Indianapolis Wedding Pages and then developed American Mediation Services covering the state of Indiana.

Scott served on the Board of Directors for the Greenfield Boys and Girls Club for 20 years. Scott was very charitable to many organizations and individuals as he was a mentor to many. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Greenfield Boys and Girls Club. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Park Chapel Christian Church, Greenfield, at 6PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020 with David Wood officiating. Stillinger Family Funeral Home has been honored to assist the Hutton family during their loss.
