Hancock Arts offers pumpkin pour workshop

GREENFIELD — Hancock Arts will host a Pumpkin Pour workshop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St. Registration is $10 per person; space is limited. Library sponsors writing workshop with author

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Public Library will host a virtual writing workshop with author Annie Sullivan from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Sullivan, author of the young adult novels “A Touch of Gold,” “Tiger Queen” and “A Curse of Gold” will teach participants who to write a story from start to finish. The workshop covers the ins and outs of creating strong characters, developing well-rounded plots, world-building and how to write catchy first lines. Sullivan will lead the talk via Zoom.
