GREENFIELD

Our precious wife, mother, and grandmother, Judith (Judy) Ann Weber, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. She was 73 years old. She was born to the late Nellie Snyder Holler and Thurman E Holler on August 30, 1947 in Oil City, PA. She married her longtime friend and love Charles E Weber on December 12, 1971.

Judy was a proud West Virginian, raised in Parkersburg and graduated from Parkersburg Central High School in 1966. After high school, she joined the United States Air Force as an Inventory Management Specialist where she was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. She was always very proud of her service to her country and took pride in honoring the men and women of the military. She was recognized by the Paralyzed Veterans of America for her generous donations that helped provide much-needed service’s to disabled veterans. After the military, she worked 18 years for Naval Avionics and 12 years for the Indiana State police doing criminal background checks.

Her joys in life were spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You could always find her at a cookout in the backyard, watching the grandkids do 4-H, taekwondo, or hockey. She loved to travel to small towns and unique shops. She also enjoyed reading, painting ceramics, and watching movies.

Judy loved to love on people. When her children were young, she loved to bake cookies and often had all the children in the neighborhood at her house. Later in life, her hands were rarely still. She loved to crochet and made blankets for family and friends. She was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Via de Cristo and a member of the St James Lutheran Church actively involved in bible study.

She was predeceased by her two sisters Marion Bartlett of West Virginia and Carolyn Sprouse of West Virginia. She is survived by her husband Charles E. Weber of Greenfield, IN; her brother Butch Holler of West Virginia; her two children Chris Weber and his wife Mila and Michelle Schoonover and her husband Ken; four Grandchildren Marissa Weber and her fianc?e Adam Flemming, Terra Weber, Jacob Schoonover, and Muireann Schoonover; two Great Grandchildren Aubrey Schoettmer and Weston Flemming; and her pets Rose and Heidi. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Please join us in celebrating her life Thursday evening September 24, 2020, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for a public showing at Oakley Hammond Funeral Home, 5342 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral ceremony to follow Friday September 25, 2020 at 11:30 a.m.
