GREENFIELD —  The Salvation Army is preparing to roll out the red kettles.

The service organization has set a goal of collecting $50,000 in its annual Red Kettle Campaign, in a year that’s seen an increased number of people reaching out for help.

This year, the kettle stands will be able to accept Apple Pay and Google Pay, and online donations will also be accepted.

The money raised in Hancock County helps Hancock County families.

Checks can now be made out to Salvation Army Hancock County, and mailed to: Salvation Army, 1517 Bowman Drive, Greenfield, IN 46140

Businesses who would like to host a counter kettle can call 317-372-2304.
