NEW PALESTINE — Brookville Road Community Church dedicated its new sanctuary expansion Aug. 23.

“As a church, our passion is to see lives transformed by the Gospel,” lead pastor Kris Sorensen said in a press release issued by the church. “I can’t wait for all the people to gather in this new space, hear the Word of God, and see Him move in their lives in ways they never thought possible.”

The church has invested more than $9.1 million into its “Boundless” initiative since early 2019, funding the new sanctuary as well as remodeling the children’s environments and expanding local and global missions outreach. The name “Boundless” signifies the many opportunities for God to work through this local church, located at 7480 W. U.S. 52.

During the sanctuary dedication, church members gathered in the sanctuary space and wrote their favorite Bible verses on the preaching platform before flooring is laid there.

“My family and I have attended church here for the past 12 years, and we have greatly benefited from this ministry due to the work and ground-laying sacrifice of all those who have gone before us,” said Bruce Lippold, former chairman of the church elder board, said in the release. “We are thrilled to be a part of what God will be doing here next through this body using the new facility.”

The expansion at the non-denominational Christian church is expected to be complete in October.
