Indiana State Museum offers fall break camps

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St., is offering a wide variety of fall break camp options for kids. Among the choices for the single-day camps are: “Gross Me Out,” a camp where children learn how the body works to keep itself healthy (including the importance of snot and how gas escapes from our bodies); “Paper Creations,” where children create paper masterpieces through the arts of origami and quilling; “Domino Effect,” to learn unique ways to create a simple task through the use of potential and kinetic energy (and imagination); and “Secrets of the Museum,” where children can go behind the scenes to the museum’s storage areas. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $55 per camper. Visit indianamuseum.org for a complete listing of camps and dates.
