Bible institute offers classes

GREENFIELD — Evangel Bible Institute, part of Evangel Church in Greenfield, offers four eight-week terms per school year. Each term can lead to six credit hours if you should choose to earn a degree.

Mothers group offers evening sessions

GREENFIELD — Brandywine MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) provides support, encouragement and connection for mothers of young children. It will hold evening large group meetings in addition to new daytime women’s Bible studies and play groups for children

The group’s new meeting time will be two Mondays a month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the chapel of Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road, Greenfield. The first meeting is scheduled for Aug. 17. Limited childcare will be available at the church. Daytime groups will meet in homes or parks throughout the county.

Membership dues are $55 for the year, which includes membership to MOPS International as well as local group funding.

Payment plans and scholarships are available.

Brandywine MOPS is a chapter of MOPS International and is an outreach for mothers of children from pregnancy through kindergarten.

Rummage sale continues

GREENFIELD — Northside Christian Church’s rummage sale continues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Aug. 8) in the fellowship hall of the church, 1304 Greenfield Drive, Greenfield.

Household items, furniture, clothes and miscellaneous items are available. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds going to missions.
