GPD officers take part in active-shooter training
Greenfield Police Department officers have spent part of this week participating in active-shooter training, using the vacant halls and classrooms of Greenfield-Central schools as their training ground. In addition to tactical drills, “this training also focuses on critical incident pre-planning for large-scale events, incident command, scene management and pre-determined roles and responsibilities for officers,” GPD said on its Facebook page.
