McCORDSVILLE — The town of McCordsville recently received a report of people claiming to be town employees and attempting to enter a resident’s home.
The two impersonators were in a gray/silver minivan who approached a resident’s door and wanted to come inside. The pair said they were with the town of McCordsville. The resident correctly refused to let them enter.
If this happens to residents, the town encourages them to contact the police immediately.
McCordsville work vehicles are white with a green logo on the side. Town employees are required to show identification if they need to speak to someone and do not enter homes.
