McCORDSVILLE — Road resurfacing projects on County Roads 600W and 700N in town are underway.
The roads will remain open, but there will be lane restrictions during construction. Drivers are advised to drive slow and be aware of workers’ safety.
The town is milling and resurfacing 600W (Mt. Comfort Road) from 650N to 500N. In addition, 600W from Broadway to 750N is also being milled and resurfaced.
County Road 700N is being milled and resurfaced along with extensive patching. This will extend from 600W across the front of Champion Lake.
Hancock County has a separate project that extends east of Champion Lake, and the road signs east of town are not related to the town’s project.
McCordsville’s Facebook page advises travelers to expect work on 600W and 700N to go for the next couple weeks.
