HANCOCK COUNTY — The number of Hancock County residents known to have had COVID-19 as of Friday was 312, according to the Indiana State Department of Health.
That total was two more than the amount reported Thursday.
Hancock County’s COVID-19 death toll remained at 27 Friday. It was the first day the county went without adding a death since Monday, May 18.
The county also added more than 100 new tests for which results have been received, which occurred between May 8 and May 20 and raised the total to 3,078.
Indiana added almost 500 COVID-19 cases between May 4 and May 21, raising its total Friday to 30,409. Another 27 deaths between May 6 and May 21 raised that amount to 1,791. Total tests stood at 208,561, after more than 5,600 tests stemming from March 16 to May 21 were added.
