Furniture ministry lists most-needed donations

MAXWELL — Love INC’s partnership with the furniture ministry at Faith Baptist Church needs donated furniture and appliances.

Sought are working electric washers/dryers, refrigerators, kitchen tables/chairs, couches, sofas (no sectionals or futons), and bed frames that are not bunk beds. Dressers without mirrors can also be donated. Mattresses should be queen-size or smaller, without rips or stains.

The ministry is not taking entertainment centers.

Call Love INC at 317-468-6300 to request a pickup. Church volunteers have been picking up donated furniture and distributing it to families in need as they can; their schedule varies amid the pandemic.

Monetary donations to help build a storage barn on Faith Baptist property can be made online on the Facebook page “Faith’s Furniture Ministry” or mailed to Faith Baptist Church, 1489 E. County Road 600N, Greenfield, IN 46140.
